About CMA
The Cereal Millers Association (CMA) is the leading industry body representing Kenya’s grain milling sector, encompassing millers, aggregators, traders, and importers dealing in wheat, maize, rice, pulses, and other cereals. Established in 2000 as the Wheat Millers Association and formally registered in 2007 as CMA, the Association has evolved into a strategic platform that champions the growth, sustainability, and competitiveness of the grain milling industry in Kenya.
CMA’s membership has grown over the years to comprise of over 60 companies across the grain value chain, collectively accounting for approximately 40% of Kenya’s maize milling capacity and over 95% of the country’s wheat milling capacity. This positions the Association as a critical voice in national food security, agro-processing, and trade policy.
